At least 25 persons who served as ministers, aides or advisers to former President Goodluck Jonathan are being either investigated or prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.
Apart from ministers and aides, Jonathan’s wife, Patience, and his cousin, Azibaola Robert, who is the Managing Director of OnePlus Holdings, are also under probe for an alleged $20m and $40m fraud respectively.

Buhari, Kwankwaso in closed-door meeting
A former governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, on Friday visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Buhari and Kwankwaso held a closed-door meeting inside the president's office.
This was after they had joined other Muslim faithful in observing jumaat prayer at the State House mosque.
Our correspondent reports that this was about the first time Kwankwaso would hold such a private meeting with President Buhari in Aso Rock.
There was no official communication from the Presidency on what Buhari and Kwankwaso discussed.
The former governor left the Presidential Villa without addressing State House correspondents.

Suspend ministers accused of corruption, PDP tells BuhariThe Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to emulate the judiciary by asking ministers accused of corruption to step aside for proper investigation.

The party made the call in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Dayo Adeyeye, on Friday in Abuja.
Adeyeye recalled that the National Judicial Council (NJC) had on Thursday announced its decision to suspend justices facing corruption charges.
The justices are Sylvester Ngwuta and Inyang Okoro of the Supreme Court, Mohammed Tsamiya, Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal, Ilorin Division and Kabiru Auta of Kano State High Court.
