Another of the missing Chibok school girl  is out of Boko Haram dungeon.

Maryam Ali Maiyanga walked into freedom yesterday; 24 days after 21 of those she was abducted with over two years ago by the terror sect were released from captivity.
The Army said yesterday that Maryam and her 10-month old baby were rescued early in the day during an operation against Boko Haram insurgents at Pulka village in Gwoza Local Government area of Borno State.
She informed the soldiers that she had the baby boy, named Ali, for a Boko Haram terrorist.
She and the baby were subsequently taken to a military facility for medical attention.

Edo State Government has rejected the apologies tendered by the Ojuromi of Uromi, Zaiki Edenojie II.
It rather suspended the Onojie of Uromi for one year for failing to apologise within the stipulated period to a woman, Ms Betty Okoeber, whom the Onojie allegedly assaulted on September 28, at a polling unit in Uromi.
The traditional ruler was earlier suspended for seven days and asked to apologise for disobeying constituted authorities and allegedly assaulting a woman.
Intervention by some political leaders of Uromi saw the alleged victim tendering apologies to the Onojie.

BUHARI, SARAKI STRIKE DEAL OVER $29.9b LOAN REQUEST...READ IT ALL ON TAFIA WORLD

        

President Muhammadu Buhari and Senate  President Bukola Saraki may have made up on the $29.9billion loan approval which the executive is seeking from the Senate, The Nation learnt last night.
Buhari and Saraki are understood to have met three times on the issue in the last few days since the Senate turned down the request last week.
Saraki has already admitted that the loan request may be re-presented by the executive.
This, the Presidency may do later this week, sources said yesterday.
But there is a caveat: the Senate may refer the request to its Committee on Local and Foreign Debts, headed by Mallam Shehu Sani.
The Senate hinged its rejection of the loan request last week to inadequate information by the Presidency.
The loan is expected to be used for the provision of  key infrastructure.

The crisis rocking the Edo state Chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has deepened following decision of the state party executives to withdraw support for the party’s governorship candidate, Osaro Onaiwu.
This is coming three days after National Chairman of the party, Mr. Victor Oye, suspended the entire Edo state executives of the party for alleged anti-party activities.
But the suspended party executives in a press statement issued in Benin yesterday said actions, inactions and omissions of Onaiwu amounted to anti-party activities.
