Former military President, General Ibrahim Babangida, has described the recent release of 21 Chibok girls as a signal of hope for the nation. Babangida, who rejoiced with the families, people of Nigeria and the Federal Government over the release of the abducted Chibok Girls, said their release was an indication that President Muhammadu Buhari’s government was committed to ensuring safe release of all the abducted girls.“It is a thing of joy for the girls to have been reunited with their families after being taken away in such painful and abrupt manner for over two and a half years,” he said. Speaking at his Uphill Residence in Minna, yesterday, the former military president lauded President Buhari’s effort for the resilience shown thus far on the release of the abducted Chibok school girls, despite the general lethargy and dampening spirit caused by the mode of operation of the deadly group. He urged the Federal Government, security agencies and other partners to hasten negotiations to free the remaining girls and rehabilitate them from the psychological trauma they might have encountered in the last two and a half years. The Naija European  Entertainers Association held it 2nd meeting yesterday in Eindhoven, many EU Promoters, Deejays, Comendians, Artists were present at the meeting.

The association touched on a lot of things, such as how to give recognition to the coalition and how to help Artists in Europe grow and get recognition for what they are doing, it was also disscussed that we will not go after anyone anymore and that those that feel the need to become a member will do so by themselves.

The association also talked about the use of association logo, in the near future permission will only be giving to its members and anyone who is not a member will not be allowed to use it and that also goes to the coaltion page which is generally open now but will be filtered in the near future to enable us know the active members and those that need the help of the association.

The association also talked about its members helping to promote other members of the association anytime they post their music or event either on Facebook, or anyother news outlet.

The association talked about having its first major show to promote EU based Artist, many considerations were giving to other countries, but it was decided that Italy will be the first place to start, so a date was fixed for next year to organise an Industry night that will show case all EU based Artists, and also create awareness to the association.

The association formed a new Exco to run the day to day affairs of the association, note this are just coordinators for now, Murtala Yusuf Oluwaseyi was choosen as the PRO of the association, and seven other people were also choosen to help grow the association, and they are Djbudetee, TOA, Gabby Uwangue, DjBcross and David Uhmo,Unbreakable dee  every member was asked to take this association seriously.

The association want to grow its members but at the same time the association is not going out to beg any person to become member, its a free will and only those willing should become members

The association also adviced that EU Artists should work on a better quality of music, speaking on that was Djbudetee who said in other for deejays to play your music, you must work on better Mastering and Mixing, the quality must be updated, though many EU artists are doing that now but many still have to work on their product.

He also talked about the promo aspect of music, saying talent is good, but talent dont bring you far when you dont do good promotions, Eu Artists should focus on spending money on doing promo , and that only will bring you far.

The association talked about helping artists to promote their music, and that EU based promoters should work towards promoting EU based artists, they also talked about the need to focus on the losses our EU promoters go through when promoting Naija based Artists, and questioned how long that is going to happen, and now is the time to act, before its too late. And that  EU promoters deserve better treatments and not always running at a loses.

We hope that next meeting will get more people on board and move the industry forward.

EU PROMOTERS SHOULD THINK ABOUT THIS IF THEY ARE REALLY WILLING TO COME TOGETHER.......LETS STOP THE FIGHTING AND COME TOGETHER.

Its time for us to show action and seriousness,  the time for you all to show your face and lets do what we all have been talking about bring a change to the industry a change on things should be done, our EU Artists deserves better and our promoters deserves better our deejays deserves better our comendians derserves better how long do you want to sit on the side line??, think about this your silent will not cut it.

Comrade the time has come for us to do what is right, sitting and complaining behind our computer will not cut it or do it for us, we have yo come together in unity if wecare to succeed, beefing or complaining of how it ought to be without action is waste of time, friday is the date, let us be more matured and take risks and what is right for the first time, the entertainment industry will not grow if dont act and do something, facebook comments or complaints will not cut it for us,

The time is now, when we get together and get serious on this issue, we would be respected in the entertainment industry, we need to focus on what is right and so what is right, i will like to say this and i mean it, even if we are just five present that day we will be moving forward, its better to have five serious minded people than having 20 unserious people, you all must also know that coming to Facebook to complain and cry out anytime you are offended without doing anything about is not the best way.

The multiple award winning deejay budetee was honoured yesterday in Belgium, at the BENELUX MERIT AWARD 2016 held in Belgium, organised by Prince Olotu a Nigerian doing so much to create awreness to Nigerian music in Europe and also encourage upcoming artists to get to their goals, never to give up in their quest for success, the event show cased who is who in  the Entertainment industry  in Europe.

Some of the known names that were present at the event were K- Blast Obes, Ecco Hood, Steez Weeze, Darlene Madu, Amanda, Iyobo for Christ, Bella king, Micheal Keys, Bona karriah and many more.The event was covered by Jebi Love and Fiddy Ice.The event also saw notable  Nollywood movie producers,  Directors, Actors and Actress such as Tony Dele Akinyemi.

The event also saw live performances by Eco Hood, Kblast, Darlene Madu, and others, Amanda lazmon gave a heart breaking speech about herself her struggle with her illlness and how she overcame her fear of not being ashame of how she look or how people see her because she see beauty in her face anytime she looks at the mirror, she also went on to talk of how people die from little headache, but she survived her illness and today she can sing and talk, she uses herself to encourage others not to give up, she talked about how she never had any experienced in singing, she never went to any music school, but today she can sing and she has won many award with her gospel songs.


The truth teller Elder Uyi Olaye, was also honourd among others for his stead vast contribution to the Edo community and for his truth in Europe, he gave a speech encouraging other to stay on the part of truth because that what will bring you far.

Tafia World wish all the recipient a very big congratulation and hope to see them excel in their choosen carrier in the nearest future, djbudetee also used the meduim to remind the Artists that the next coalition meeting in Einhoven is on the 7th of October and he hope that everyone showed up to talk about the way forward.
