MINUTES OF THE (NEEA) MEETING HELD IN THE NETHERLANDS........read it all here

The Naija European  Entertainers Association held it 2nd meeting yesterday in Eindhoven, many EU Promoters, Deejays, Comendians, Artists were present at the meeting.

The association touched on a lot of things, such as how to give recognition to the coalition and how to help Artists in Europe grow and get recognition for what they are doing, it was also disscussed that we will not go after anyone anymore and that those that feel the need to become a member will do so by themselves.

The association also talked about the use of association logo, in the near future permission will only be giving to its members and anyone who is not a member will not be allowed to use it and that also goes to the coaltion page which is generally open now but will be filtered in the near future to enable us know the active members and those that need the help of the association.

The association also talked about its members helping to promote other members of the association anytime they post their music or event either on Facebook, or anyother news outlet.

The association talked about having its first major show to promote EU based Artist, many considerations were giving to other countries, but it was decided that Italy will be the first place to start, so a date was fixed for next year to organise an Industry night that will show case all EU based Artists, and also create awareness to the association.

The association formed a new Exco to run the day to day affairs of the association, note this are just coordinators for now, Murtala Yusuf Oluwaseyi was choosen as the PRO of the association, and seven other people were also choosen to help grow the association, and they are Djbudetee, TOA, Gabby Uwangue, DjBcross and David Uhmo,Unbreakable dee  every member was asked to take this association seriously.

The association want to grow its members but at the same time the association is not going out to beg any person to become member, its a free will and only those willing should become members

The association also adviced that EU Artists should work on a better quality of music, speaking on that was Djbudetee who said in other for deejays to play your music, you must work on better Mastering and Mixing, the quality must be updated, though many EU artists are doing that now but many still have to work on their product.

He also talked about the promo aspect of music, saying talent is good, but talent dont bring you far when you dont do good promotions, Eu Artists should focus on spending money on doing promo , and that only will bring you far.

The association talked about helping artists to promote their music, and that EU based promoters should work towards promoting EU based artists, they also talked about the need to focus on the losses our EU promoters go through when promoting Naija based Artists, and questioned how long that is going to happen, and now is the time to act, before its too late. And that  EU promoters deserve better treatments and not always running at a loses.

We hope that next meeting will get more people on board and move the industry forward.
