Mugabe regime "accident waiting to happen," says opposition

Zimbabwe’s MDC opposition party says the Mugabe regime was an “accident waiting to happen.”
Obert Gutu, a party spokesperson, said that the MDC has been telling the world for years that “this is an unsustainable system” but continued saying the period over the last 24 hours appeared to be peaceful.
“We haven’t heard of any looting. We haven’t heard of any bloodshed … or anybody being killed.”
Gutu said: “Whatever is going to happen, let us respect human life
