Ikemefula Samuel also known as D’Maslove was born on February 8th, 1988 to Chief Ikemefula Ogele and Mrs. Victoria Ikemefula Ogele in Umuhu Ezechi in Bende local Government area in Abia state. He attended community Secondary School Umuhu Ezechi. D’Maslove started music by singing at a very tender age in a Church where his music teacher-mentor, Sister Ngozi Johnson inspired him to become a singer. 

He used to sing on street corners. He started off his career with a group by the name Men on Men in Abia State early 2006, and dropped their first single called: ‘‘Para Para’’. D’Maslove, a master composer, and performer is often associated with music that can be described as spiritually inspirational and extremely sexual. He won acclaim with their first single production debut album in 2006.

D’Maslove, at the pinnacle of his success, decided to team up with another music industry leader, Jeseey Records in 2007 after splitting from Men on Men the same year. As a wonderful singer, Jeseey Records decided to sign him in 2007.  After great commercial successes on some collaborations with tracks, he dropped his personal single titiled, ‘‘FEELINGS’’ under Jeseey Records. 

He later resigned by  Pure Skilz RecordS Ghana in 2011 and did a couple of songs under their label and videos like ‘‘The one for me’’, Overdose and Back Body.

D’Maslove has been newly signed by a record label called Song Motive Records in 2016 with a hit single track titled ‘‘Shine Babe’’ in Switzerland. which is now the talk of the whole Europe.
