Kirk Cameron Says Wives Should ‘Follow Their Husband’s Lead’

 

Ultra religious former child star Kirk Cameron has some very old fashioned ideas when it comes to women’s roles in marriage.
The 45-year-old evangelical Christian spewed some controversial advice for wives in a new interview.
“Wives are to honor and respect and follow their husband’s lead, not to tell their husband how he ought to be a better husband,” the former Growing Pains actor told the “When each person gets their part right, regardless of how their spouse is treating them, there is hope for real change in their marriage.”
The father of six continued: “A lot of people don’t know that marriage comes with instructions. And, we find them right there in God’s word [in the Bible].”
