Top Nollywood actor Muna Obiekwe died on January 18th 2015 around 4:15pm in a hospital in Lagos after a battle with kidney failure.
He was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed at his home but unfortunately, it was too late for doctors to save him.
It is revealed that Muna had been quietly battling with a kidney disease but refused to share his pain with anyone else, not even his friends or colleagues.
The doctor who was in charge of his treatments said:
"I spoke with Muna on numerous occasions about his health status. I even said things to put fear in him so that he would abstain from drinking but he didn't listen. I understand that he had a lot of private difficulties but drinking and smoking only worsened the situation.
