At their time, Djs of then never augue or discriminate the way it happen in this century. 

There is what is called press release of a song and immidiately the recording label pushed the music out, all Djs will like to have a copy. And is not compulsary every dj must play a particular music or Artist. It is not compulsary you must play my music for example, I will never hate you for not playing it cause of you dont, some one it appeal to that I dont even know will do and life goes on. You must ask yourself, how many of those Artist in EU can afford to feed & house themselves talkless of sharing 100 or 50€. 

This is Europe and it has a System. Many Djs of the oldies like Legend Dj Prince 200, Dj Bbd, Dj Kola, Dj Shola etc all work with then Naija Artist, why because in a party, they have Yorubas, Igbos, Edos, calabars in attendance Who want to hear their music and culture recognised in that party. Today , I saw hatred, tribalism, disrespect and pride in Showbusiness generally.

 Let us all understand that before it was music that heals the world but today is football that has taking over cause football works like a Team. Lets work as a Team rather than arguing on Who is good and bad because nobody is 100% perfect. I  did not just start singing, it was a special gift from God. ………….

 

My  names are Edith Miracle Okhionkpamwonyi.  I am a Norwegian student and a Norwegian by nationality and live in Norway. I speak English language, Norwegian language and some other languages as well. I was born in Edo State Nigerian by late Mr & Mrs Solomon Okhionkpamwonyi & Victoria Okhionkpamwonyi.  They both died when I was very young.

I was raised up my aunty  at Ekemwan in Benin City Edo State Nigeria. 

I have one biological sister, my dad had four other children by another woman, the sad thing is that I don't have any personal contact with my step brothers and sisters.
I am the last born in my Family.

 

While I was living with one of my aunties, I was singing in a choir at Church of God’s Mission at Ekemwan branch in Edo State. I love singing, singing is my passion, it was something I desired in life and wanted to make a living out of it,  music was my friend.

Music was something that was giving to me by God, and I get great pleasure doing it. To shorting the story. I started composing songs since 2010 here in Norway. 

I was just doing it for fun. Do you want to hear the most amazing part of the story?

I discovered one thing that, the more I tried to give up on singing the more the music become alive through me.  It's difficult to explain, except when you are in my shoe to experience it, So, these are some of the reasons why I  tell people about my desire for music. In addition to this, I also took music class through one of the Norwegian culture school in Skien where I live, to enable meto  learn how to sing solo and to build up my voice. I learned how to read rhythm and so on.  I  am doing music because I love to sing and did not jump into it because others are doing it.

 No no no. I was waiting for God’s timing and I have Faith, so I think this is the right time. Nothing is going to stop me now, get used to it.
