We, A Cardinal Segment Of the Executive Of the Nigerian National Association, Netherlands NNA.NL wish to state categorically that we are not a party to the planned protest Against the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari on his visit to the ICC at the Hague on Tuesday 17, July 2018.
Specifically, We the Underlisted Officers Of the Association: Elder G. U...yi Olaye(Vice President), Mr John Robert(Financial Secretary), Prince John Paul Luscap(Chairman, Exco working committee), Mr Ken Fatoki(Publicity Director) hereby totally dissociates Ourselves from such ignoble and indecent protest Against the Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari at The Hague.

The so-called protest is allegedly being arranged by the President Of the NNA.NL Ms Evelyn Azih in collaboration with some Unpatriotic Nigerians simply to get very Cheap, Worthless and Disgraceful Attention which are not needed to resolve any of the Crisis facing our Nation back Home.

If the President’s Attention is needed, We prefer a more civilized face to face dialogue with the Nigerian President to air our grievances and concerns and not through such a disorganized public protest which does not practically represent the yearnings and voices of all Nigerians in the Netherlands.

I Don’t Know My NYSC Exemption Certificate Was Forged. Someone Did It For Me. - Kemi Adeosun, Finance Minister.

After about two weeks after the abnormalities surrounding the embattled Finance Minister, Ms Kemi Adeosun, she has broken her silence. Adeosun narrated that she did not apply for the exemption herself and not aware that what the ‘agent’ gave her was not from NYSC.

I was born in London and also had all my education there. I graduated at 22 and started working immediately. When I returned to Nigeria in 2000s, I knew about the national labour law requirements, including NYSC participation or exemption, but didn't know how to go about it.

I relied on 3rd parties to assist and it looks like they took inappropriate steps. I am shocked and equally embarrassed to learn about this. I should have checked before now and I accept the blame for their wrongdoing because they acted on my behalf.

I accept full responsibility for this incident and regret that it even happened in the first place. I am prepared to do whatever that is required to redeem these grave errors.

GOVERNOR OBASEKI SAYS HE DOES NOT KNOW DION OSAGIE IN BELGIUM TOWN HALL MEETING read it all on Tafia world.

In a setting in Belgium today the Governor was in a town hall meeting the where he came to adress the Edo state community in Belgium, after making a long speech to adress the Edo community telling them about what is going on in Edo state, the stateaffair and state of things in Edo state like the roads, the hospital.

Many questions was asked by the people that came to the venue of the said town hall meeting, many people travelled from far and near and that also included Dion Osagie who also travelled from Nigeria to attend the townhall meeting, but when it was time for Dion Osagie to ask his question, he started with asking  the Governor to explain why he said he did not know who Dion Osagie is, that question irritated those in charge of the coordinators, who said  Dion Osagie would  not be allowed to ask that question, he became irritated, and said if he is not allowed to ask his question they should take their mic back.

Many people reacted to this development on social media on how bad Dion Osagie was treated, they were asking why the Governors was not allowing Dion to speak, so in depriving Dion from speaking  its shows  he did not want to be embarassed with the questions that Dion Osagie may ask.

If that is so or so we may never know, Dion Osagie left dissapointed, and he says Edo state may never develop, except they change their attitude and behaviour.

The tanker crashed into a passenger car and caught fire on a busy bridge about 5 p.m. on the Lagos Ibadan Expressway, a route used by commuters living on the outskirts of the city.

"In the distance, I could see several vehicles trying to maneuver and turn back on the road," he said. "Some folks were abandoning their cars and running, and those closest to the tanker were simply merged into a wall of red."

Adodo said passengers quickly exited the bus after seeing the cars and tanker engulfed in flames.

"People at the front started scrambling to get out," Adodo said. "The conductor was gone in a jiffy. Those in the middle started climbing through the windows."

Muyiwa Bammodu, who lives near the scene, said he saw victims being ferried on motorcycles to receive treatment.

Oil tanker accidents are common in Nigeria. Last October, 20 cars and four commercial motorcycles were burned when a tanker spilled petroleum on a busy road.

I read with much amusement yesterday the press statement signed by media aide to the Governor, Crusoe Osagie on behalf of the Edo State government.

Let me start by saying that I seriously do not intend to engage the Edo state government on needless media rumbling, but I do feel it is very imperative that I respond to some of the watery allegations leveled against my person in the poorly scripted press release by the said aide.

The recent video of the dilapidated, deplorable, disgraceful, and shabby Holy Aruosa Primary School should only provoke a sincere remorse and response from a responsible and proactive government who should first and foremost be answerable to the people.

The flimsy attempt by the State government to divert attention from the core issues of the inexcusable and disreputable condition of Holy Aruosa Primary School by employing an obvious blatant tactics to ignore the message and blackmail, intimidate, and harass the messenger is condemnable and makes absolutely no sense to animals let alone humans.

For those who know me,they can testify without equivocation that I will never embark on a campaign to depict the embarrassing, and ignominious level of decay of public infrastructure in Edo State with the aim to get money from members of the APC who are finding it a challenge to meet their own personal needs. It is laughable and a reflection of very childish reasoning which Crusoe Osagie is known to excel in!!

As a noble citizen and more importantly as a father, I genuinely felt the pain and agony the little children of Holy Aruosa Primary School went through in the rain on the said day.it must have been such a horrifying experience just to get an education in a State where their parents pay taxes and all manner of levies impressed on them to pay as they carry out their businesses.

I am a proud member of the People's Democratic Party and a strong and vocal voice in the opposition party, I have never at anytime served as an aide to any minister let alone the former minister of Works, Chief Mike Onolemenmen who by all standard served excellently and earned the nickname" The Bulldozer". We are proud of what he achieved while he served and we will ask the government to show Edo people the report card of who they currently have in the Federal executive council.in any case, can we as Edo people say we currently have a minister from Edo state in Buhari's government?

Mr. Crusoe Osagie is alien to Edo state and we understand the sheer ignorance that have enveloped his small mind,he is obviously very bereft of quality information relating to the history of governance in Edo State in that he's worked all his life as a clerical staff with different establishments in Lagos,If he was properly schooled and rightly informed he will know that The PDP government of Professor Oseriemen Osunbor Paid the counterpart funding for UBE in 2007.

The decaying condition of Educational infrastructure in Edo State in the last 9 years should be worrisome to anybody who truly loves Edo state. From Ambrose Alli University, to Tayo Akpata, University, to the secondary schools and primary schools across the state can we sincerely say Education has been improved in Edo State over the years? Despite the obvious fact that the government of Former governor Adams Oshiomole and the current Governor Godwin Obaseki have presided over the richest governments in the history of Edo State and Sadly accumulated the greatest debt which our children will be forced to pay for the next 40 years while their own children are enjoying the spoils of their fathers brazen theft.

We all know that, I have recently dragged Governor Godwin Obaseki and Edo state government to court for the obvious disregard for the rule of law in the appointment of a sole administrator in the management of SUBEB instead of a Board, which is the legal operational requirement for running SUBEB and I expect all sorts of attacks simply because I am demanding that the right thing be done.

Finally, it is generally agreed by all especially those in the APC that the media team of the Governor is weak and filled with easy going sycophants who even fall short of the required experience to speak for a village head let alone a Governor. Let me use this opportunity to advise Governor Godwin Obaseki in his own interest and if he wants to be taken seriously to immediately shop for a press secretary who has a sound mind and a good command of written English and discard the junkyard dog Mr. Cursoe Osagie who has done nothing but to continuously embarrass and disgrace the state government with half baked, poorly scripted press release devoid of simple reasoning which has done nothing but provoke negative reactions towards the government who is already swimming against the tide and at the verge of drowning.

I sincerely hope that the government will wake up to her responsibility.
Edo state youths should stand behind Okpere now and say enough of the blackmail.
