As the recent comment by President Muhammadu Buhari that his wife belongs in his kitchen continues to spark controversies across the country, renowned Nollywood actress, Chioma Akpata, has joined the league of female folks, raising their voices of concern.

The President had reacted to an ‘explosive’ interview his wife granted the BBC, where she said she may not back her husband at the next election unless he reshuffles his cabinet.
In his response, the president, who was in Germany on a three-day visit to discuss issues relating to security and economy, laughed and replied, “she belongs to my kitchen and living room.” 
Recall that veteran actress, Hilda Dokubo, had in a 2-minute video clip shared on her Instagram page @hildadokubo, said she does not belong in the kitchen, living room or other rooms and she deserves some right as a woman...read it here...

Sensational singer, Yemi Alade, who emerged Best Female Artiste at the just concluded 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards, MAMA, has indirectly reacted to the recent comment by President Muhammadu Buhari that his wife belongs in his kitchen which sparked up controversies across the country.

DAILY POST reports that as the ‘Johnny’ crooner was called up to receive her award on Saturday night at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg, she gave a terse speech which was purportedly directed at the President’s most publicized comment.

Renowned Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokubo, has recounted how she roughly and carelessly lived her life as a young growing girl, and how she almost took to prostitution out of frustration following her father’s death.

The former Special Adviser on youth affairs to Peter Odili, a former governor of Rivers State, made this known in Lagos at the weekend where she ministered as a Pastor at the Fresh Oil International Church.
She said some of her past activities are unknown to many as she turned her back on God and everything that mattered.
Dokubo said, “I was born with a silver spoon, but death turned me poverty-stricken after my father died when I was just nine.
“I turned away from God at that point, because I felt disappointed that despite how much my father loved and served God, he still died; so after my dad died, my mother completely lost her mind. If she were living in the US, I’m sure she would have been diagnosed as a mental case....read it here...
