RE: VIRAL VIDEO OF INDECENT ASSAULT ON A YOUNG NIGERIAN LADY

* NPF records breakthrough

* Arrest Six (6) male suspects

* Pledges justice for the victim

Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested six male suspects involved in the shocking, barbaric and indecent assault meted out on a young Nigerian female as shown in a video which recently went viral.

Following the dehumanizing incident, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu had ordered a comprehensive investigation into the report.

Consequently, the Edo State Police Command, led by its Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu swung into action, leading to the investigative breakthrough.

Two other male suspects are still at large. Efforts are being intensified to arrest them and bring all involved to justice.

The Nigeria Police Force condemns jungle justice in its entirety and warns of dire consequences for persons who resort to criminal acts of self-help.

The six male suspects arrested are: (1) Otoghile Joel (owner of the phone alleged to have been stolen by the young woman) (2) Lucky Igbinovia (alias "One Man Squad" in whose house the young woman was tortured) (3) Edobor Osemwengie (manager of Lafun Hotel) (4) Kingsley Iyamu (5) Gregg Eweka (6) Friday Omorogbe.

Meanwhile, the police have established contact with the female victim, aged 24 years. Her health status and recovery rate are being monitored.

The Edo State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu will be providing more details as the investigation progresses.

Update on the girl who was barbarically molested by some unscrupulous elements.
Four persons have been arrested so far by gallant men of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, (SARS) Edo State Command.

Joel, the young man who is the owner of the phone that was alleged stolen is among those arrested.

The owner of Evans Hotel, Ugbihiokho, Ekenhuan Road who allegedly held the girl hostage after paying the sum of #260,000: 00 to Joel as part payment for phone is in police net.
One Eweka who allegedly inserted the pepper in her private part, the native doctor and one Osarogie from Okeze Community, Ovia North East Local Government Area who allegedly open her legs are at large.



We saw and interviewed the suspects who narrated their involvement in the matter.
We must commend the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) for a job well done. We are very optimistic those who are at large will be apprehended by the police soon.
We shall be meeting with the girl tomorrow.

My Barrister Felix Osemwengie Isereand human right activist Marxist Kola Edokpayi were at the State CID today to meet with the IPO handling the matter. About four persons have been arrested in connection with the inhuman act while the principal suspect is still at large. Felix says...... The girl is fine and safe, but I will be meeting her personally tomorrow to interact with her. We will not sleep or rest until the heartless criminals are sent to the prison.

it would be recalled that Mr Felix Isere came out with a write up on facebook asking his fans to locate the the girl in question, according to him he was moved to tears after watching the humiliating video of the girl.
